    Section: Statement of determination

    Statute: 19:20-2

    Statute Text

    The board in the case of an election for a member of the senate, members of the general assembly, or other officer elected or public question approved or rejected by all of the voters of the county, except for members of the house of representatives, shall make two statements of its determination in substantially the following form: "A statement of the determination of the board of county canvassers relative to an election held in the county of on the day of November, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and , for the election of a member of the senate, members of the general assembly of this state, and a sheriff and coroners for said county and public questions (naming the officers and public questions, as the case may be). The said board does determine that at the said election, was duly elected a member of the senate of this state; were duly elected members of the general assembly; was duly elected sheriff and were duly elected coroners for said county, and public questions were approved or rejected (as the case may be)."
