    Title: THE NEW JERSEY CODE OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE

    1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, whenever a defendant charged with a crime or an offense involving domestic violence is released from custody the prosecuting agency shall notify the victim. L.1994,c.137,s.1.
